The Grand Apartments is located across the road from the protected Harley Park Swimming Lagoon, which is the ideal beach choice for families seeking a safe swimming environment. The park and lagoon area is the home of daily pelican feeding (1.30pm each day) and the lagoon is floodlit in the evenings.

The park features swings, slides and climbing equipment for the children. It is located right next door to one of the Gold Coast's best fresh seafood/fish and chip shops and there is plenty of picnic table seating available along the beachfront and within the park.
