Hidden away in the beautiful Daintree Rainforest is the luxurious holiday retreat Bali Hai. When Bali Hai opened at the end of 2000, it created a watershed in the adoption of Balinese tropical style in Australia. Four grass-roofed pavilions and a wet edge pool make up the home that sits at the top of a natural rainforest glen. From each pavilion, a beautiful view is accompanied by the sounds of the river flowing below. The central living pavilion is stunning, opening onto a patio overlooking one of the most beautiful and dramatic pools we've seen. One of three king suite bedrooms at Bali Hai...nothing but the rainforest and complete tranquilty.

Three other pavilions are home to bedrooms, featuring ensuites with sunken baths. With Bali Hai - in the rainforestthe pool, the river and the striking baths, Bali Hai is all about water in all its beautiful forms.
