Built in 1945 in Port Cygnet, Tasmania "The Hunter" is now sailed by an experienced crew of 3 and carries 21 passengers as it tours Australia's premier cruising ground, the magnificent Whitsundays.

Relive the true spirit of adventure and immerse yourself in romantic sailing heritage on this 90 ft (27.3m) Timber Topsail Schooner - a tallship in the true spirit of the term.

Taking up to 21 passengers on a 3-day/2-night yesteryear adventure, Derwent Hunters offers private cabins and share accommodation.

An onboard licensed bar, spacious deck and interior, permanent shade and private cabins are just a few of the impressive features aboard this boat. Visiting all the best destinations in the Whitsunday region, Derwent Hunter will sail you there with elegance and charm.

For those interested in sail training, the crew are more than happy to help teach you.

All meals, snorkelling, bed linen and towels are provided for the guests. All you’ll need is your swimmers and a sense of adventure!

*Derwent Hunter has four private double cabins. Each has a double berth and a single berth and shares an ensuite with another cabin. Private Stateroom has its own ensuite.

Rates include GST, meals served aboard, use of snorkelling equipment and linen.
Rates exclude Environmental Management Charges & admin fees of $25; Stinger-suit or wet-suit hire at $10-$15 per trip.
