Whitsunday Bush Adventures has Australia's only purpose-built adventure track offering an exciting and different way to explore the Australian Bush. Fully guided tours on your own 4-wheel motorbike - the ultimate fun machine. For first timers through to experience riders.

Whitsunday Quad Bike Adventures has the only purpose built adventure track in Oz with over 15 kilometres of bush trails.

TOUR 1: MOUNTAIN PLUS

You will be collected from your accommodation in the Whitsundays Bush Adventures' courtesy bus and taken to Dryander House, home of Whitsunday Quad Bike Bush Adventures. Relax and enjoy the great Australian bush scenery on the way.

After check you in you'll be given a brief introduction on how to ride a quad bike, including safety instructions. Then its time to mount up on your own fun machine!

First - you are taken to our confidence course. This gives you plenty of time to get used to the bike - Professional guides are on hand to help you and answer questions.

And then…the adventure begins as you follow the guides along tracks through farmland then into the rainforest of the Dryander Range. The tracks you will be riding on are carefully laid out to be challenging, but not frightening.

You'll climb steep hills, negotiate tight corners, there's some fast bits - lots of variety. You take it all at your own speed and within your own capabilities. And whether you are experienced or a first time rider, you can be sure of an exhilarating ride!

Along the way you'll stop and soak up the magic of the rainforest and learn a bit about this unique area. Whitsundays Bush Adventures' guides are full of local knowledge - flora, fauna, geology, pioneering exploration and other interesting stuff.

A tour highlight is the view from our 9 metre high rainforest canopy lookout tower - you can see for miles - they are the best island and valley views in the Whitsundays.

Then its back down the hill, to the reception area to relax around the picnic table, compare notes and enjoy complimentary refreshments.

To give you the best adventure, tours are small - limited to just 10 riders, escorted by 2 experienced Quad Bike guides.

TOUR 2: RAINFOREST EXPLORER 

Great for beginners/first timers.

An exhilarating guided tour on your own 4-wheel fun-machine. Explore the paddocks and woodlands of our cattle fam, and discover the spectacular rainforest of they Drylander Range.

 Continue on for an extra hour and climb the moutain on our challenging rainforest tracks which lead to our spectacular view tower - 1,000 feet above sea level.

Our tours are personalised with groups of no more than 10 people and suit both beginnners and advanced riders.

TOUR 1: HORSE WHISPERER TOUR
COSTS:

Natural horsemanship experience & trail ride - 2 Hours

In your first hour:

You'll be taught the art of Natural Horsemanship or "Horse Whispering". Based on trust, respect and co-operation, natural horsemanship teaches you to understand horse psychology and unlock the magic of becoming one with your horse.

You'll learn how to make your horse:

- Follow you with out a bridle
- Ride with just a halter
- Come when you call
- Stop, start, trot and canter on simple command (depending on your ride experience)

Then in your second hour:

With your new equine friend you'll then explore our nature trail ride.
Meander through the cattle farm and rainforest, experience spectacular valley views and the wonders of the Australian bush.

Tours are personalised with groups of no more than 10 people and suit both beginners and advanced riders.

A relaxed and wonderful way to discover the Australian bush. You'll follow horse trails winding up mountain jungle to experience stunning valley views, then descend to the valley floor as you follow trails through rainforest creeks and our cane and cattle paddocks.

Our personalised approach of one guide per five riders and no more than ten riders per tour ensures a quality experience. Horses and riders are matched to suit any riding ability.
